Can you believe our early spring weather? Better get some seeds started on a sunny windowsill, it looks like we'll be out in the garden soon!
And here's a great event to get you in the mood, the annual Community Garden Resource Fair, sponsored by Gardening Matters, to be held on Saturday March 31st at Neighborhood House, located at 179 Robie, on the west side of St. Paul. (full details). The keynote speaker is Karen Washington, president of the New York City Community Garden Coalition and founding member of Black Urban Growers (BUGs). With over 20 years of experience working in New York City, Karen has developed abandoned lots into successful community gardens and food initiatives. Hope to see you there!
